After a demonstration staged to show solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement in every part of America, the base of a statue of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in Parliament Square was defaced with words written on it that (Churchill) “was a racist.”
全米各地での「黒人の命は大切だ」運動との連帯を示すために行われたデモの後、(ロンドン中心部の)英議会広場にあるウィンストン・チャーチル元英首相像の台座が、「(チャーチルは)人種差別主義者だった」と台座に書かれた言葉で、汚されてしまった。
