VW’s “clean diesel cars,” which met the U.S. standards at the time of the EPA’s emission control tests, was found to have discharged emissions (nitrogen oxide) that far exceeded the U.S. environmental standards when they were driven on the road.
米環境保護局(EPA)の排ガス規制試験[検査]の際に米国基準をクリアーしていたフォルクスワーゲン(VW)の「クリーンディーゼル車」が、実際に道路を走行すると、米国の環境基準をはるかに上回る排ガス(窒素酸化物)を出していたことが発覚した。
