In share splits, listed companies divide existing shares to increase the number of shares issued.
株式分割の場合、上場企業は、すでに発行されている株式を分割して、発行済み株式数を増やす。

These subscription warrants could be converted into shares at a ratio of two new shares to one existing share if hostile acquirer obtains a stake of 20 percent or more.
この新株予約権は、敵対的買収者が株式を20%以上取得した場合に、既存の株式1株に対して新株2株の割合で株式に転換できる。
