Under the revised Penal Code, the crime of robbery and forcible sex and other acts, which carries a penalty of life imprisonment or a minimum of seven years, can be applied regardless of which crime was committed first.
改正刑法で[刑法の改正で]、強盗と強姦[強制性交等]のどちらが先でも、「無期または懲役7年以上」の法定刑とする「強盗・強制性交罪」が適用されることになった。

Under the revised Penal Code which came into force on July 13, 2017, the crime of rape has been renamed “forcible sex and other acts,” and acts similar to sexual intercourse can also be considered rape and men can also be classified as victims.
2017年7月13に施行された改正刑法では、強姦罪(の罪名[名称])は「強制性交罪」に変更され、性交の類似行為も強姦罪[強制性交罪]と見なされ、男性も被害者に加えられた。
