先行指標 先行指数 (=leading index:鉱工業生産財在庫率指数、耐久消費財出荷指数など、現状の景気の動きに先立って動く経済指標)

leading indicatorの用例

Private-sector machinery orders excluding those for ships and power equipment, a leading indicator of corporate capital spending, rose 2.6 percent from the previous month to ￥704.4 billion after seasonal adjustments.
企業の設備投資の先行指標となる民間需要の機械受注額(船舶と電力を除く、季節調整値)は、前月比で2.6%増の7,044億円となった。

The diffusion indexes of the coincident, leading and lagging indicators compare the current levels of various economic indicators with their levels three months earlier.
