On December 1, 2020, two of the Chines Chang’e 5’s four modules set down on the moon and collected the fresh samples of rock and debris from the moon’s surface, which were carried back to the return module to Earth by an ascent vehicle.
2020年12月1日、中国の月探査機「嫦娥(じょうが)5号」の4個のモジュールのうち2個が月面に着陸して、月面から岩石や破片の新しいサンプルを収集し、サンプルは(月面を離れる)上昇船で地球に帰還するモジュールに運ばれた。
