《米》 percent，《英》 per cent ((記号 %))；〔パーセンテージ〕(a) percentage ((of)) （▼数詞のあとにpercentを用い，small, large, highなどの数量形容詞のあとに percentageが用いられる）

地震による死者は村の全人口の30パーセントにのぼった
Thirty percent of the villagers were killed in the earthquake.（▼「数詞＋percent of＋名詞」が主語のとき，動詞の数は名詞の数に一致する）

私の予想は的中率99パーセントだ
My predictions are right 99 percent of the time.

I agree with you one hundred percent.
