❶〔交際する〕associate with; keep company with; go about [around] with
悪い者と付き合うな
Don't associate [keep company] with undesirable people.／Keep away from bad company.
初めての人たちと付き合うのが苦手だ
I find it difficult to mix with strangers.
彼女は付き合っていて気持ちのいい人だ
She is a pleasant companion.／I enjoy her company.
