説明
Hatsumode is a person's first visit of the new year to a shrine or temple, and is made during the first week of January. People toss money into offertory chests and pray for the health of family members and prosperity in business. After offering their prayers, many draw lots to learn their fortune, and buy talismans or amulets.(意訳:年が明けてから初めて神社や寺にお参りに行くこと.
