菊の節供，九月節供，重九 (ちょうく) ともいう。五節供の一つ。旧暦9月9日の節供で，奈良時代より，宮中では天皇が紫宸殿に出御し，群臣に宴を賜わり詩歌文章をつくらせる菊花の宴が行われ，年中行事となった...
