❷〔列にして置く〕

いすを横に２列に並べる
line up chairs in two rows

人を縦に［横に］２列に並べる
arrange [stand] people in two lines [rows]

❸〔必要な配置にする〕

食卓に食器を並べる
set the table

食卓の回りにいすを６脚並べる
set six chairs around the table

客間のいすを具合よく並べる
arrange the chairs in the parlor
