❶〔位置を変える〕move
動くな
Don't move.／Stay there.／Keep still.／《口》 Stay put.／Freeze.（▼「動くと撃つぞ」「足下が危ない」など，動くと危険な時に言う言葉）
恐怖で一歩も動けなかった
I froze in terror.
神経痛で手が動かない
I cannot move my hands because of neuralgia.
車が雪にはまって動かなくなった
Our car got stuck in the snow.

The car 「runs on [is run by] electricity.

The train stopped [halted/came to a standstill] because of a power failure.
