❶〔弱くなる〕grow weak; weaken
父も年で目に見えて弱ってきた
My father is growing perceptibly weaker with age.
このごろ脚が弱ってきた
I've begun to lose strength in my legs recently.／Recently my legs have started to weaken.
気力が弱ってきている
She doesn't have as much drive [energy] as she used to.
