❶〔たたく〕strike, hit（▼うまく打ち当てる意味を含む）；beat（▼ある意図をもって続けざまに打つ，対象が人の場合には「痛めつける」という意味を含む）；〔平手で打つ〕slap；〔げんこつでなぐる〕punch；〔こつこつとたたく〕knock
子供の頭を打つ
strike [hit] a child on the head
ぴしゃりと彼のほおを打った
She slapped him on the cheek.
男が棒で打たれた
The man was beaten with a stick.
転んでひじを打った
I fell and hit [banged/bumped] my elbow.
雷に打たれた
He was struck by lightning.
