あつかう【扱う】
❶〔（手で）使う〕handle；〔操作する〕operate
壊れ物は丁寧に扱ってくれ
Handle the fragile articles carefully.
この機械は扱いやすい［にくい］
This machine is easy [difficult] to handle [operate].
❷〔待遇する〕treat；〔世話する〕take care of；〔あやつる〕handle, deal with；〔もてなす〕entertain
部下をもっと公平に扱いなさい
Treat your subordinates more fairly.
新人は彼が扱う
He takes care of the newcomers.
彼は扱いにくい
He is hard to deal with.／《俗》 He is a tough customer.
