ことわり【断り】

❶〔謝絶，辞退〕declining；〔拒絶〕(a) refusal, (a) rejection；〔禁止〕(a) prohibition

招待に５人から断りの手紙が来た
We received five letters declining our invitation.

その要求はお断りだね
I must refuse [turn down] that request.

面会お断り
〔口頭で〕I'm sorry, but we cannot accept visitors.／〔掲示〕No Visitors

入場お断り

欠席のお断りを出しておいてくれ
Send them my apologies [regrets] for my absence.
