あふれる【×溢れる】
❶〔水がいっぱいになってこぼれる〕overflow；〔氾濫する〕flood, be inundated
バケツがあふれている
The bucket is overflowing.
ふろおけから水があふれ出た
The water overflowed the bathtub.
コップにあふれるほど注いだ
I filled the glass to the brim.
彼女の目には涙があふれていた
Her eyes were brimming with tears.
あふれる涙を抑え切れなかった
