おぼえ【覚え】
❶〔覚えること〕learning；〔暗記〕memorizing；〔記憶〕(a) memory
覚えがよい［悪い］
〔習得〕learn fast [slowly]／〔記憶力〕have a good [poor] memory
仕事の覚えが早い［遅い］
be quick [slow] to learn one's job
人の名前にかけては覚えが悪い
I have a poor memory for (people's) names.
