❶〔単語の終わり〕the end(ing) of a word；〔接尾語〕a suffix

語尾が-shで終わる語
words ending in -sh

主語が三人称単数の文の動詞の現在形には語尾に-sをつける
Add the suffix -s to verbs in the present tense in sentences in which the subject is third person singular.

❷〔文の終わり〕the end of a sentence

彼女は語尾を濁した
She slurred [muffled/mumbled] the end of her sentence.
