I drove [chased] the cat out of the house.

しつこい押し売りを追い出した
I sent the persistent salesman packing.

彼は怒って客を追い出した
In anger, he showed his guest the door.

アパートを追い出された
I was evicted [ejected] from the apartment.（▼evictは法的手段で，ejectは力ずくで）

❷〔ある集団・仲間から〕

家庭から追い出される
be thrown out by one's family

クラブ［学校］から追い出された
I was 「expelled from [《口》 kicked out of] 「the club [school].

彼女は会社から追い出された
She was dismissed [《口》 fired] by the company.／《英口》 She got the sack from the company.
