❶〔与えられる〕be blessed with；《文》 be endowed with ((a talent))

彼女は一子を授かった
She was blessed with a child.

彼は女王からおほめの言葉を授かった
He was praised by the queen.／《文》 He was accorded the queen's praise.

❷〔教わる〕be taught ⇒さずける（授ける）②
