❶〔集まる〕be collected
人数がまとまらない
We cannot get enough people together.
生徒はまとまって乗車するように
Pupils should get on the train [bus] together.
❷〔整う〕be well arranged；〔統一がある〕be united
やっと考えがまとまった
My ideas have finally 「taken shape [come together].

The thesis is well organized [arranged].

The party is divided.
❸〔決着がつく〕be settled
明日出発することで話がまとまった
It has been agreed that we will start tomorrow.

An agreement has been reached in the negotiations.

The treaty was concluded through his efforts.
二人の縁談がまとまった
A marriage has been arranged between the two.
