❶〔他より優れている〕good; excellent
この炭坑の石炭は質が良い
The coal from this mine is of good quality.
あの青年は頭が良い
He is 「an intelligent [a bright/《口》 a smart] young man.
彼には少しも良いところがない
There is absolutely nothing good about him.／He has absolutely nothing to recommend him.
彼にはなかなか良いところがある
He has some fine qualities.
彼女のどこが良いのだろう
I don't know what you [people] see in her.
あの子は学校での成績が良い
The boy does well at school.

She played Chopin very well.
