❶〔往来する〕go to and from ((a place))；〔通勤・通学する〕commute ((from, to))；〔しばしば行く〕frequent ((a place))
バスで学校に通っている
I go [commute] to school by bus.
彼らは毎朝歩いて工場に通う
They walk to the factory every morning.
息子を大学に通わせたいと思っている
I want to send my son to college [a university].
どこの学校に通っているの
Which school do you attend [go to]?
隣町のバーにしげしげ通った
He frequented [went frequently to] a bar in the next town.
